About The System
Specifically designed for the smaller business, the ManxEPOS
system is custom written to work on a range of basic hardware
and to be tailored to the exact needs of the customer.
The system is written in such a way that it is very easy to
expand and can be programmed to produce reports and figures to
exactly meet the requirements of the business.
ManxEPOS
is designed to work with a barcode scanner and a keyboard, with
a mouse not normally needed. It can also work with a touch
screen, but these are expensive.

Support
We
will modify the ManxEPOS system to meet your exact requirements
and install a fully working system that is ready to use.
If required, we will also provide a complete and comprehensive
setup service where we will help you to input all your stock,
train you to use the system and tweak the reporting system to
meet your needs.
Day
to day technical support is available free of charge for the
first 12 months and can be arranged for subsequent years at a
reasonable rate.
We provide a printed manual outlining all the basic features of
the system for day-to-day use.
Computer Requirements
ManxEPOS requires a Windows-based PC to work. We recommend
Windows XP, as it provides a stable platform that is secure and
compatible with most hardware, although the system will run fine
on Windows ME or Windows 2000 if older hardware is all that is
available.
We Recommend:-
- 512Mb of RAM Memory
- 20Gb of Hard Disk Space
- 1.5GHz processor or faster
- 15" Monitor or bigger with 1024x768 pixels
- A keyboard is required, but a mouse is optional
- Microsoft Windows XP (Home or Professional)
- A USB Memory Stick for Back-Up purposes
You
will probably also need a receipt printer, Cash Drawer, Barcode
Scanner and possibly a mainstream printer for reports if you do
not already have one.
We can supply all necessary hardware at very competitive
prices if required and offer a comprehensive support package for
any PC we build.
Of course, if you have a new PC, it can also be used for
other business purposes, such as bookkeeping, promotional design
and printing, online ordering and communications. ManxEPOS is a
very frugal system in terms of resources and will leave plenty
of processor time free for other activities.
Customers surf the Internet, use Skype, do their books,
design posters and write their business correspondence on the
same PC.
