About Me

David Kinrade has been programming and supporting computers for far longer than he would care to remember (actually 40 years and counting). From the earliest days of the home computer revolution in the 1980s, right through to the mobile revolution and IOT world that we inhabit today.

His primary focus has always been the support of people and their computer systems at a person-to-person level. It doesn't matter how small or large your computer problem, he can either help you directly or find someone else who can.

As an independent sole-trader, he can offer unbiased and unconstrained advice about both hardware and software. In addition, he has broad programming experience allowing him to create bespoke applications and solutions for problems on PC, IOT Hardware and Android-powered devices such as mobile phones and tablets.

Outside Work

David is a keen photographer and traveller. Having visited Africa eight times, spending almost 40 weeks in seven different countries, he remains fascinated by the landscapes and wild animals of the dark continent.

He is also keen to record his travels, both as a personal record and for posterity. This has lead to the creation of coffee-table books for each trip to Africa and two longer books about his travels with his friends, giving him an intimate knowledge of the self-publishing industry.
